Liz Huston, a native of Los Angeles, is entirely self-taught. Her work has evolved over two decades, from a traditional film background into digital assemblage, to photomontage mixed media where she combines acrylics, oil, and watercolors with her digital works to create her pieces. In her complex imagery, Huston creates an esoteric narrative that hints at a logic far beyond the average and mundane. In her symbolic visual works she bridges the worlds, creating not just art, but medicine for the human spirit. Huston is a full-time artist with a public studio in Downtown Los Angeles. Her photography has been featured in Juxtapoz Magazine, and she was named one of "Photographers You Should Know" by Rangefinder Magazine.
