Boo! Barbara is busting out in all her middle aged glory. Running around on the beach in her bikini, she does not care what part of her is hanging out or jiggles.
No, she did not shave her armpits and yes, she’s getting quite a sunburn but she is happy and she is free.

About the Artist:
In her career as a professional artist, Nathalie Tierce has worked on projects as diverse as productions for Shel Silverstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Rolling Stones, period dramas for the BBC, feature films such as Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and painting murals for Disney.
Her relationship with theater and film nurtured her desire to connect to people through storytelling in her paintings and drawings. She is the author of two books filled with her surreal imagery and prose. Fairy Tale Remnants, 2019 (Indigo Raven Publishing) and Pulling Weeds from a Cactus Garden (Indigo Raven Publishing) to be released October 2021.

Born and raised in New York City, Nathalie received her formal training at Pratt Institute in New York and The École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She then spent ten years in Europe refining her craft as a painter.
She frequently exhibits in galleries in the Greater Los Angeles area and maintains a studio in Glendale, CA, where she lives with her sculptor husband, Chris Towle, son, and two cats.
