It’s a Halloween Costume PARTY!
Saturday, October 4th from 4pm-9pm
At Gold Bug / 38 E Holly Street, Pasadena
We are celebrating our 15 year partnership with K/LLER COLLECTION Jewelry by hosting a TRUNK SHOW joined by a rare visit from the artist herself, Katie deGuzman, who will be present from 4pm-7pm. Trick the senses, adventure into a world of edible art. On this evening, a special and horrifying treat is in store for our guests from the creative mind of Joanna Cuervo with KOMETA.
Come in COSTUME and receive a special treat!

MEET THE ARTIST: Katie deGuzman will be visiting from New York and at the Halloween Party talking about her jewelry from 4pm-7pm.
Meet the vision behind K/LLER COLLECTION, Katie deGuzman, who will be present that evening to answer questions about her jewelry and to share (and sell) some of her favorites from over the years. K/LLER COLLECTION revolves around an interest in natural forms, architecture, alchemy, androgyny, and juxtaposition. The collection—an amalgam of oxidized, rough-hewn metals delicately cast over skeletal organic material—releases an unapologetic, gutsy rebel yell. Eolithic materials—like horn, distressed leather, crystals, porcupine quills, cactus, and feathers—fuse deconstruction and sculpture, decay and renewal, androgyny and femininity, sophistication, and bohemia. Gritty yet sleek, each piece is timeless. Every piece of K/LLER COLLECTION jewelry is hand assembled and packaged in Kingston, NY. All materials are responsibly sourced in the USA and the ankole horn collection is responsibly sourced in Uganda. The majority of the jewelry is cast from recycled metal, and the porcupine quills and horns used are by-products from the farming industry.

KOMETA is the creative culinary studio by Barcelona native, LA based chef and multidimensional artist Joanna W. Cuervo. With roots in Michelin kitchens, she creates immersive, plant based, zero-waste dreamscapes that merge fine dining with art.
Inspired by distant worlds, Joanna reimagines desserts as a sensory otherworldly experience—where flavor, beauty and sustainability coexist.
